I grew up on a cattle farm on the outskirts of a small town in Zambia, which is in Southern Central Africa. I went to school in South Africa, Zambia, and finally finished my schooling in Zimbabwe. I had an amazing childhood filled with fantastic experiences. As a family, we often holidayed at Lake Kariba and I feel very privileged to have seen Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world several times.My grandparents lived on the same farm as my parents and me. It was my grandmother, my Ouma who first introduced me to the romance genre, and I was hooked from there. I now live happily in Jane Austen country in the UK with my family.The reason I wrote this book was that the last year hasn’t been the best for anyone really, and I decided that I wanted to start knocking things off my bucket list. As travel was off the cards… I decided with much encouragement from fellow authors and my family to dust off my notes from the book I started in 1999 while still living in Africa.After much hesitation and finger biting, I finally pushed the button and self-published it.Please keep in mind if you do happen to read my books, they are all self-published and unedited.
